Hey, I'm Adam 👋
Turning Complex Problems into Simple, Useful Products
I’ve co-founded, scaled, and rebuilt startups across multiple industries — leading everything from product redesigns and operational shifts to AI implementation and international expansion. I understand what it takes to build something from scratch, and I know how to keep things moving when it matters.
I’m originally from a tough working-class part of Manchester, UK. It gave me a thick skin, a sharp sense of humour, and a low tolerance for nonsense. I was raised on values like honesty, fairness, and treating people equally, which still guide how I live and work.
Law firm by day, law school by night
Resilience is a muscle — I trained mine early. I put myself through law school while working full-time at a top Manchester law firm — it was intense. In the end, I realised that a long career in law wasn’t for me, but, I made sure I finished my degree well.
That experience taught me something more valuable than legal theory: how to push through when things get tough and finish what I start. It also gave me skills and experience that have served me well ever since, especially in business.
Finding my rhythm in Madrid
Moving to Madrid gave me a fresh perspective on life and work. I ended up surrounded by designers, developers, musicians, and founders — and realised I was wired the same way. So, I swapped suits for startups and never looked back.
I get energy from solving problems and making things better. I’m drawn to creative spaces, but I also love order, clarity, and systems that work. That balance is what pulled me into the startup world — and kept me there.
What matters to me
My approach to work (and life) is simple: treat people with respect. Give them room to grow, make mistakes, and figure things out. If someone shows up with honesty and good intent, I’ll always have their back.
I care deeply about fairness, inclusion, and doing work that actually improves something — for users, for teams, for communities. I’m not interested in politics or posturing.
At home in Norway
In 2017, I moved to Oslo with my partner — and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. In my opinion, Norway provides the perfect balance: nature on the doorstep, space to think, and a culture that values wellbeing.
Outside of work, you’ll find me cycling through forests, gaming, or off exploring somewhere new — collecting ideas, meeting people, and keeping my perspective fresh.
TL;DR?
I work at the intersection of product design and business operations. I solve real problems, build systems that scale, and keep teams moving without the drama.
